Duties and Responsibilities
As Kitchen Porter, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
Soak, pre-wash and wash all food & beverage operating equipment.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils such as pots and pans are always clean, in a good working condition and ready for use..
Ensure that the kitchen and working areas are mopped and clean at all times.
Keep the dishwashing machine and cleaning equipment in a clean, hygienic and functional state.
Check and record dishwashing temperature on a daily basis.
Sort and distribute all clean equipment to assigned shelving.
Clean the wash tanks, mop and reorganise all washing equipment.
Clean the pot washing equipment and working area to the hygiene standards.
Complete HACCP forms daily and file accordingly.
Take responsibility and ownership of your working environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.

Qualifications
To execute the position of Kitchen Porter, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
Secondary school education or vocational / technical certification in hospitality and at least 1 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational role.
Technical skills include familiar with food and hygiene codes, and various hotel systems including operational knowledge of dishwashing machine.
Basic command of written and spoken English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
All candidates must hold the right to work in the UK to be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
